Worst Starting Hands You Can Get Playing Texas Hold'em

Posted By Diego | Learn-Texas-Holdem News | August 30, 2010, 04:09 AM |

There are a few hands that are considered the worst and you should avoid playing.Although they are the worst some players see it as a challenge and play it anyway.
The absolute worst hand available is 2-7, they are the lowest cards existing, there is no future for a straight, will make a very low flush and very low pair or pairs, it is such a weak hand you should consider avoiding to play.
Same goes for the 2-8(exactly like 2-7).
2-6 is also considered one of the worst, even if a miracle happens and a 3-4-5 appears someone will have a higher flush or straight, it's considered a 90 percent loss so I wouldn't play it.
2-9 & 3-9 & 4-9 has a tie, no straight from these cards, nine isn't a worst card but it isn't good either - it is in the middle, playable but beware.
2-10 not good at all, although a professional player named Doyle Brunson won two WSOP bracelets with this pair, anyway you are probably not him so don't try this at home.
5-9 although it's playful and known as the Dolly Parton(working 9 to 5) it's a statistical loser.

Hope this information helped and will help you win.....
